While the Friendship Park Community Center (long known as The Senior Center) has been here for many years, in 2009 the Center filed for and was granted Not-for-Profit 501(c)3 Status.  Since then the FPCC 501(c)3 Board of Executives has been working with the City of Toledo to offer many more Services to the Point Place / Shoreland Community, while increasing the Center's self-sufficiency.  Here are some views of "What's goin' on here!!"  These include: a Daily Lunch Program, BINGO, Card Tournaments, International Heritage Dinners, Easter Egg Hunts, Craft Shows, Historical Presentations, New Years Eve FROG Drops.   And..., much more is planned.    Got any ideas??  Share them at "CONTACT US".

Many "Fun Times" happen at the Friendship Park Community Center including Centennial Birthdays and Wedding Receptions. Many informative events also take place including Point Place Heritage, AARP, Business Association, Crime Prevention and Boating Meetings.  With the increase in the availability of the Center to the Public, many more events and activities are being planned.  And..., improvements and additions to the Park Area around the Center are being discussed and planned.  These include the addition of Children Playground  and  Senior Exercise Equipment.    Improvements to the Basketball Court are also planned.
